Talk it through
You tell us what the sign has to do. We ask about sightlines, the wall, the budget and the town's rules — before anyone draws anything.

Design for legibility
We are sign designers first. A design has to be legible and clear, and it should quickly communicate what you do and the style with which you do it.

Build it on the bench
Roland printers, Arlon vinyl, 3M wrap film, Graphtec plotters. We use the best, so you get the best.

Install and stand behind it
We set it plumb, wire it properly, and we come back — new lamps, updated hours, or a complete replacement.

Dan Hale started Hale Custom Signs in 2004, after eleven years training with a prominent sign maker in Hatfield. He outgrew a small garage in Turners Falls, then Greenfield — and in 2014 moved the shop to 277 French King Highway in Gill.
Today the crew brings a combined 51 years of experience to the bench. Small enough that the person who designs your sign is the person who installs it.
